How to Fix Wi-Fi Connection Issues

Symptoms:

  • Can’t connect to Wi-Fi.
  • Internet drops randomly.
  • "No Internet, secured" message.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Restart your router and PC (unplug for 30 seconds and power back on).
  2. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on:
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
  3. Forget and reconnect to the network:
    • Click on the Wi-Fi icon, select your network, and click Forget.
    • Reconnect and enter your password.
  4. Run the Network Troubleshooter:
    • Open Settings > Troubleshoot > Network troubleshooter.
  5. Flush DNS cache (Windows):
    • Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run:
    • ipconfig /flushdns
  6. Update Wi-Fi drivers:
    • Open Device Manager, find Network Adapters, and update drivers.
